Greta L. Suneson joined Kokish, Goldmanis, & Greenberg, P.C. in 2016. She focuses her practice on estate and trust planning, probate and trust administration, representing conservators and guardians in uncontested proceedings, and real estate matters.
As an estate planning attorney, Greta guides clients through the planning process with careful deliberation and sensitivity. She educates her clients so they have a clear understanding of how their unique estate plan works and how it will help them to achieve their individual needs and goals.
Greta also advises personal representatives, trustees, conservators, and guardians. She helps these fiduciaries to fulfill and uphold their duties, while understanding that they may be going through difficult life events, such as the death or incapacitation of a loved one.
Greta’s has broad legal experience. Greta received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1999. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in New York City. She spent almost 5 years handling felony and misdemeanor cases from post-arrest investigation through disposition, including hearings and trial.
Greta also worked in her hometown of Buffalo, New York at one of the city’s largest law firms. While in the firm’s Real Estate & Banking Department, Greta assisted companies and individuals with a variety of real property matters, including commercial and residential purchases and sales, and represented lenders in both commercial and residential loan transactions.
Today, Greta is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Douglas/Elbert Bar Association, and the Women’s Estate Planning Council for the Denver area.
She is also member of Denver MAMA (Mother Attorney Mentoring Association), a Colorado nonprofit corporation that works to empower attorneys who are also mothers and encourages them to succeed in both their professional and personal lives.
Greta is admitted to practice law in both Colorado and New York.
